Spring Ranch sits atop the Cholame Hills in coastal, central California near the city of El Paso de Robles. The land has supported ranching for centuries and today the family ranching tradition lives on in a sustainable rangeland management program that carefully balances animal husbandry, protection of the local environment and investment in our local community.
The land is characterized by gently rolling hills punctuated by oak woodlands and vernal lakes and streams. The nutrient rich clay soils support a significant variety of grasses that form the foundation of the area’s ecosystem. These same soils have nurtured the region’s critically acclaimed vineyards and help to impart a unique flavor to our beef.
All of our meat comes from cows born and raised entirely on our ranch. Throughout their lives, our cows never receive hormones, are able to range freely over thousands of acres and are treated humanely.
Our cattle are a cross-bred of Angus and Gelbvieh blood lines to ensure our meat is both tender and lean. All our beef is USDA harvested and inspected to ensure the highest quality and dry-aged to improve flavor and tenderness. Each cut of meat is hand-cut, packaged and frozen for your convenience.
